                  So funny how they have completely different personalities: Bernadethe is such a kisser and Berenice plays the “don’t get too close” type… but the best part is witnessing how much Aline loves them both.  A few days ago I posted about my visit to Pingo and his new family. It’s incredible how excited he got when he saw me there and how thankful he looked. I cherish very much this image, taken by Ana Maria, an amazing photographer and friend. Moments like this warms my heart big time.                                  After I sent Aninha some of the shots that I’ve taken of her bday party, she approached an asked me if I’d do a session with her and her little niece Duda. Seriously? How could I refuse that??? A Aninha é apaixonada pela sua sobrinha… e tem coisa mais gostosa do que passar a manhã brincando juntas (com direito a participação especial da minha maltês, a Minie) e fazer umas fotos prá nunca mais esquecer uma fase boa da vida? If the kid enjoys playing Nintendo, that’s what I’m going to click… if a family is really loud and make jokes all the time I’m not gonna make them pretend to be something else. I do some research before a session just to have a reference of what’s being done (so I can try to stay away from it! LOL) or just to ignite some ideas but my major plan is to always follow Lennon/McCartney’s advice and just let it be!19/08/2010 – 9:36 AM these are beautiful. you have so much talent and I love how you capture the essence of your subjects. how long does it take you to do a session like this? do you previsit and map out the ideas for the photos, or do you fly by the seat of your pants? just curious.
